Madonna has called on her fashion designer friends to help get her boyfriend a job.

The Material Girl was concerned that Brazilian toyboy Jesus Luz would have to soon return home to South America.

But designer Marc Jacobs stepped in to help get 22-year-old Luz a work permit for the US.

A source said: "(Jacobs) wrote a letter of support for Jesus' work permit. Marc campaigned for Jesus, saying he is highly talented and a necessity to the label."

Madonna, 50, has been dating Luz, since her split from director husband Guy Ritchie last year.

The insider added: "All these fashion lines are hiring Jesus as a favour to Madonna. As long as he can legally work in the US, they can be together."

A representative for Jacobs declined to comment.
