Rihanna has returned to work for the first time since her alleged altercation with Chris Brown.

And her producers Brian Kennedy Seals said the Umbrella star has written three songs about "different situations in her life, just things that inspire her".

The songs are said to include a ballad and an up-tempo track.

Seals added: "She's ready, ready to make hits."

Rihanna has also teamed up with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder, who she said she is doing well.

He added: "She's phenomenal. She's confident and strong and doing what she does."
