Britney Spears' ex husband is in trouble with the taxman for owing thousands of dollars in federal taxes.

Kevin Federline set up Gooseneck Production Inc, for the release of his flop 2006 album Playing With Fire.

The company also handles any appearance fees Federline receives.

But the production company hasn't been as lucrative as he thought and he now owes $14,371 to the US government.

According to records, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking $14,371 from the company after filing documents at the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds office in May.
