Bryan Ferry is a living legend of rock who has transformed himself over the years from a rocker to a crooner to, in his latest transformation, the leader of a 20's-style jazz band.
For his new North American tour, though, he is sticking with what he is best known for, his songs with Roxy Music and a few of his solo pieces. Over the night, Ferry performed 16 Roxy Music songs including, scattered throughout the evening, the whole first side of their 1972 debut and four songs from Avalon.
In comparison, Ferry only played six songs from his solo career and only one from his last true solo effort, 2010's Olympia.
Ferry plays at the Coachella Festival the next two weekends along with five more west coast dates before returning to Europe.
